No doubt keyword suggestion tool is powerful and accurate. Ahrefs keyword tool provides lots of useful information about each keyword such as search volume, competition, CPC, click rate, paid clicks, return rate as well as SERP features.
You can use Ahrefs to see the users’ queries of 10 search engines including Google, YouTube, Amazon, and other popular search engines.
Ahrefs provides different types of filters so that you can find the best keywords for your business. You can sort the data by clicks, clicks per search, return rate, and CPC. You can also sort the keywords list by search volume, difficulty, word include/exclude, and SERP features.
Well, I found a contradiction that makes things unclear. On the “Our Data” page Ahrefs claims that they provide keywords data from 243 countries while on the “Keyword Explorer” page they say that they provide data from 171 countries. Which statement is true? It gives a little bit of unprofessional behavior that will lead to buyers’ confusion. Here are the screenshots of both.

The value of backlinks cannot be ignored in the SEO of the website so, a good SEO tool should also provide nearly accurate data about a domain’s backlinks. Ahrefs claims that its crawlers are the most active on the internet after Google. They say that their data is updated every 15 – 30 minutes and their databases are storing 212.8 million domains excluding spam domains. They have 26.9 trillion internal and 3.4 trillion external backlinks. Well, these are their own words. Being an Ahrefs reviewer, I have to do a test to see how good this tool is.
I tested a popular site HubSpot and found the following backlinks data.
I also tested the same domain on SEMrush and that tool told me that the domain has 342k referring domains and 269 million backlinks. There is a big gap between the results of tools. Ahrefs backlink checker is providing fewer backlinks stats compared to SEMrsuh.

You will get the 5 amazing metrics with each webpage that are organic traffic, referring domain, DR, traffic value, and social share.
The data of this tool with help you to understand what type of content is most popular against a keyword. Finally, you can plan content for your website.

The worth part is they only allow one user per account and you have to pay an additional $20 for the additional seats.
The basic (Lite) plan lacks lots of features such as Content Explorer, Domain Comparision, and Batch Analysis. Additionally, the Lite package also does not provide historical backlinks data.

Ahrefs is costly compared to the other SEO tools so, if you are on a tight budget then consider SEMrush or Moz.

After reading the Ahrefs review you can conclude yourself. According to me, Ahrefs lacks some features in keyword explorer and backlinks analysis. Unlike SEMrush, Ahrefs is only an SEO-centric tool while SEMrsuh also provides marketing data with details. Anyhow, the Content Explorer & Site Audit Tools are great.
